Leah Pettit
Optometrist
Leah completed her optometry degree with honours at QUT in 2009, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, which allows her to prescribe ocular medications.
In 2016, Leah became part of the QLD Children’s Hospital Optometry Alignment Program, and began working at the QLD Children’s Hospital in 2019 in the ophthalmology outpatients department. Following that, Leah began supervising optometry students at the QUT Optometry Clinic. In 2020, Leah completed her Professional Certificate in Paediatric Eyecare through Ulster University, UK.
She recently became part of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Optometry Alignment Program. Leah joined Eyefix in early 2023 and fell in love with the practice immediately.
Leah spends her free time at the beach with her two young children and husband, or watching the AFL!
Oscar Miu
Optometrist
Oscar Miu is an optometrist who has completed his Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Optometry degree at QUT with a Distinction. This allows him to prescribe ocular medication.
Oscar has been practicing at Hervey Bay for the past few years before making the move back down to Brisbane. He is dedicated to providing high-quality personalised eye care to patients of all ages and values building relationships with his patients. Oscar also works part-time at Queensland Eye Institute.
Oscar has many hobbies which he enjoys outside of working including photography, watch making, and puzzles.
